I have to figure out how to archive this.

Where was I? Ballet and beer. I was chugging some beers before we left for the ballet, and it dawned on me: I was chugging beer before we left for the ballet. It was like being in college, only different. You need to get a head start. Drink a few before you go. If you’re going to a party, you’ll hit the ground running – it’ll be easier to deal with the idiots in the crowd, and if the beer runs out, you’re good to go. And if you’re headed for a bar, you’ll save ten bucks by drinking a few beers before you go. It’s just solid planning, people.

The pre-ballet beers were different, though. The concept was the same, but it was more like tailgating at Arrowhead. Drink a few before you go in and you’ll save a lot of money. But unlike a Chiefs game, the ballet doesn’t have vendors walking through the aisles selling wares, liquid or otherwise. Which made me think: why doesn’t the ballet have vendors walking through the aisles selling wares, liquid or otherwise?

Sara ‘splained, no, that’d be bad. It’d distract everyone. But there are so many questions that must be answered. Does a ballerina need to concentrate more than a receiver for the Chiefs? If there were 80,000 screaming idiots at the ballet, would the troupe be able to perform at all? Are they a troupe, or did I just hear that somewhere? What’s with the ‘e’ at the end? Are the Chiefs a troupe? Are all of the ballerinas better looking than the Chiefs cheerleaders? That doesn’t matter, because ballet is to football as ballerina is to Chiefs player, not as ballerina is to cheerleader. And yes, they’re hotter.

I’m lost again. Oh, yeah. Beer and hot dogs at the ballet would be good. Although I had a Dewar’s while we waited for the show to start. It was nice. For a blend. The scotch was a nice blend, not the ballet. The ballet was a blend, now that I think about it. And it was actually really good, too, except for some weird stuff I didn’t get. And now that I think about it, the Dewars fit the ballet better than beer and a weenie would have fit, so never mind. Disregard this whole rambling mess.
